The Origin
The Foundation
Building a Lighthouse drew in the storm. Following a series of coordinated cyber attacks and threats to our safety and stability, the mission shifted from creation to preservation. To keep the Vow I had made to my children, we had to leave the dust of the plains behind.
The Arrival
We fled for safety and stability, navigating the long road from Alberta to Quebec. The Pariah vestal is the evolution of that journey. it is the unfiltered record of a mother, an artist, and a survivor building a fortress from the fragments of the past.
The work
In the winter of 2021, a vow was made. It wasn’t just a promise to my children; it was the blueprint for the sanctuary. What began as Wild and cree artistry—a space for raw creativity and brand building—quickly evolved into a mission far greater than myself.
The Departure
As an artist, i learned that to build a brand is to claim an identity. i began helping others carve out their own spaces in the world, which birthed the idea of a non-profit dedicated to restoration. We provided braiding hair, wigs, and extensions to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence—restoring the dignity that the world tried to strip away.
